Nice dogs TGT40. One place selling a dog seat for the rear looks just like a panel to cover the area when the rear seats are folded down. I'd just pad the front seat in case one swuirts up there and put a big towel or blanket in the back. Yah you'll get hair with those dogs but eh. You could always brush them pretty good before letting them in. Maybe the brush would let you know if they are going to stay calm or get them in the mind set of staying put where you want them.

I haven't read Racing in the Rain but thanks for the idea.

If I recall, he races a 993 cup at Watkins Glen... his street car (and the one the dog rides in) is a BMW. Don't worry, there's some Ferrari content, as well.

My girl Peanut isn't a big fan of riding in cars but she sure does like to help me work on my P-car.

She was a rescue as well.

He wasnt too happy about his picture being taken today....nor the comment to my wife about him being more like a cat than a dog.

Bonnie, our 3 yr old rescue. Hard to believe a year ago she was an abused dog who was scared and untrustful of humans. In the picture she's at the timing tent of an autocross. Loud cars and 200+ people and she was an angel.

Haha. Nice picture. What type of dog is that? It looks similar to my rat terrier.

POs large mutt (or possibly a small grizzly bear) rode in the backseat and perched his front apparently-unclipped razor sharp claws on the center console. Had to replace the entire console. It was that bad. Bad Dog!

Love dogs. But dogs in cars? Not so much, except in the immortal work, Go, Dogs Go, of course.
