The facility has only been open for 9 months. The idea was to shift capacity from the Atlanta facility to service the 58 dealers in the Northeast corridor.

As for value of the parts in the warehouse - they said $43 million. Pretty impressive.

As for the IMS - no, I didn't ask about that. I felt bad enough asking about the engines. The subject of oil did come up, but I ducked out of the discussion for fear of falling asleep.

Suddenly I have the urge to be a security guard. I'd probably get the best sleep ever leaned up against a turbo crate engine for a GT. Place looks therapeutic. Maybe they'll start a sideline business for addicts. It’s better to dive in deeper than get cured of Porsche addictions.

Good points guys! Trust Tim to notice that I had photographed 3 asses. Hers was very nice and I was trying to get both her and the car in the photo.

As for opening hours - the center isn't open to the public. They only supply to the dealer network and the only way to get in there is by invitation. We're lucky enough to have a Porsche dealer contact in our region, so he managed to get them to host us for our monthly meeting... Riesentoter organized the meeting, then we had representatives from other regions there also... I know people from Pocono, Central PA, Connecticut and PCA national were there.

I was so lucky to get to tour the place. It's funny because in the end it's just a warehouse and a bunch of classrooms, but the other stuff and knowledge in the building makes it pretty cool.
