A thread dedicated to MkII Aeros

So I've done some serious research and here is the deal...the "MKII" 996 was produced from 2002-2004 but the "Aero" was not a factory option in 2002 (and is not on the order guide for that year) It was not until 2003 that it became an actual factory option. The correct option code for the areokit in the 2003 order guide...Option XAA for $7980. The white options sticker located under the front lid (or a vin decoder search from Suncoast Porsche if your sticker is missing) will have option code XAA. So...how many of us out there have true MKII Aero's? 2003-2004 996 with option code XAA? I thinking these are pretty rare?

BTW, XAA was also the option code for the mk 1 aerokit during the mk1's years.

Hello everyone. I'm new to Rennlist and just became a 996 owner. Here's mine: 2004 w/ factory aerokit.
