I was watching on youtube, the 'junkman' videos on car detailing and even if the guy repeat himself to death, I think this is the most complete video set I have seen on detailing.

He seems to be involved with adamspolishes. I am tempted to buy a whole kit to get rid of the swirls on my car, anybody has experience with adampolishes ?

I know you guys like the porter cable machine, but I have been struggling to find a complete kit to purchase in one shot.

i get the Griotsgarage kit. griots is all i use and i must say, as a detailer, there the best products iv ever used!

I use my PC with the standard pad and 3M Swirl Remover with good results on my Black Metallic Boxster. This last time on my Midnight Blue C4S I used some Meguiar's SwirlX as Autozone didn't have any 3M product and it did a credible job for the amount of time I put into it.

Personally, for a daily driver I don't see the need to spend outrageous sums so long as the results look good. OTOH, if you also show your car then that's a bit of a different story.

Griot's has a special right now. But a 6" orbital bag kit and get a 3" orbital for free. Just got the email today, but I already have their 6" DA. Good deal for sure though. The 3" orbital is about $90.

I love 3M, they are my favorite brand...of chemicals...

But it is a pain to select product one by one and never be sure they will match.

anyone with a good list of 3M product for car care ?

I use groits garage stuff as well, great stuff that is forgiving. But 3m products are also very very good.
