What are the standard mods most people do to their c2 cabs? I'm looking for good bang for buck, more go than show. Also any things that make the car better or more reliable, it's a daily driver.
Clear markers, fister D's, CAI, Wheels and some interior color matched parts. I figure unless I do some major engine mods the HP gains will be slight. I have been down this road before and 10-15 HP per mod is a bit unrealitic.
LME IMS retrofit (includes clutch eval, tensioner eval, rms eval)
Trans. Fluid
Brake fluid
Tires
FisterD (or eqiv)
Ride height (take this as far as you can afford with sways, arms, ect)
SSK in a 997 cage
Sport seats at a bare minimum
The list above is just for a street car. If you are going to the track you may want some additional safety, brake, and suspension mods depending on your experience level.
Here's mine:
K&N Cold Air Intake
Fister exhaust
Exhaust tips with larger oval than OEM (I do prefer double oval)
Fabspeed headers (got lucky, found them on Ebay new for very cheap)
H&R Springs
Motul RBF 600 with Pagid Orange (factory rotors and master cylinder 25.4mm)
Nology hotwires (did this when the car was due for a major service instead of buying factory)
OEM hardtop (love it, I rarely take it off)
Looking fwd to:
Intake Plenum
Sport cats (probably Fabspeed)
GT3 seats (Ill miss the heated seats in winter though)
and anything new I'll learn here.
