Default New to the forum and new 996 owner

Hi All

I'm new to the forum with a new (to me) 996. I lurked a while, reading up before pulling the trigger on a Seal Gray 2002 c2 cab.

Thanks for all the great info so far and the more to come.

1st Cab I've ever had and so far so good, even in the Pacific Northwest I'm loving it. I'm getting a hardtop for the winter, so it will be like 2 cars in 1.

I had a 1977 911s 10+ years ago and am amazed with the 996, even 8 years old it's still run's and looks like a dream.

Here it is on my 1st real drive off the beaten path.

Very nice car, you will find the 996 significantly better then the 911S, the 75-77's were not exactly the best of the air cooled. I had a 75.

funny how you have the MkI sideskirts on your MkII car... As it is a 2002, I wonder if that is coming from factory, last run of the MkI skirts...

Love the color, same as my coupe

Very nice. You have the pumpkins installed. SSK (B&M short shift) and FisterD's PSE mod is all you need to put a bigger smile on your face for less than $500..

the Mk1 skirt was a factory option in 02, maybe 03 as well.

Very nice car! Welcome to Rennlist!
