In my opinion now is the wrong time to sell. Prices are at an all time low and a 996 of the quality you have is worth a lot more than the current market value.

Sell it. move to the next thing. buy another porsche (997?) it's only a car, it will get older and devaluate with time. Jump now or cry later.
I REALLY love my car (2002 with 126K miles) and enjoy her sooo much. If somebody offers me $26k today, I will sell it. no regrets.

I would say sell it because you no doubt have enjoyed your Porsche, and have had a wonderful ownership experience. An interested buyer has fallen in your lap with a decent if not above average offer, and that would make it easy for me anyway, to determine a) do I want to 'upgrade' to another Porsche, or b) sit tight for awhile, see if I really miss Porsche ownership. You can easily get back into the Porsche game, especially if you are looking at a good deal now.GL with your decision.

Sounds like a nice Cab.... why sell it?

Go put the top down, take her out on your favorite local road.
Park it carefully back in the garage.
Then look at her.
I think you won't want to sell her.

Instead of the 'blinders', I get a hot poker in the eye from the wife...poke her? SQUIRREL!

Seriously though....It is fun to shop for the next Pcar......If I was offered more for my car than what I paid for it, it would go in heart beat only to be replaced by a newer one with more gizmos.
