Default Caliper Picture Request

I am trying to decide what color to the paint calipers on my Black 996. The calipers are currently black and the paint is chipping off. Does anyone have any pictures with red calipers or any other color that may look good with a black car. Thanks!

Guards Red, with black PORSCHE lettering...

A match between the seat belt color and the caliper color is a good look...

I'd like to paint my calipers also. What's the best way to paint them? Powdercoating? I imagine it's a PITA to take them off, get them painted and get them back on. How have others done it?

No need to remove calipers....

Two things I don't like about yellow calipers...

1. It makes you look like you are trying to fake PCCB's
2. The rear tail light is red...it clashes with yellow calipers

Yellow would look good on a yellow car with blacked out tail lights

What about all the guys that replaced their PCCB rotors with iron? But yes I agree with you.

Personally, as I have stated on multiple occasions, I think ALL brakes on these cars should be BREMBO RED. I really have the way they have black, silver, red, and yellow. They are Brembo monobloc calipers.

It's just two caliper bolts to remove them. I would HIGHLY suggest removing them if you really want to get it done right.

yellow is a trade mark of pccb - you`ll get a lot of raiser eyebrows when people will see yellow calipers on a steel rotors.

Go with G2 paint kits and go with red. it looks nice and is quite traditional. or you can go in non-conformist way and choose any other color from a palette they offer.

Job is simple, takes 3-4 hours total and results are great. Just wash your old caliper properly with cleaner liquid.

Why? What many fail to realize as well is you can specify caliper color when ordering their car. Of course, there is a charge.

Do all the other car marques use yellow for their composite brakes?
