I currently have black calipers with white logo. I want to paint them red since I got my 5 spokes wheels as they really show now. But I don't feel comfortable painting them while still on the car. it doesn't feel like a job well done... may be my OCD kicking in..

But I agree they should all be red

Really? Isn't the entire premise of owning one of these cars (and the campaign PCNA promotes) is to personalize them?

Phil,

I painted my calipers while they were still on the car. It took 6 days to paint the first one and only 3 hours to paint the other three, after i realized it would be easier if I removed the wheels!

Seriously, you can leave them on the car to paint them. I am very detail oriented and it was easy to paint them on the car.

By the way can you send a picture to show how your caliper paint is chipping off ? I am curious to know why it is getting damaged, the factory paint seem quite strong. Just curious.

I believe Eric @ bumperplug has caliper exchange at any color you choose.... PM him if he still does it. If you want to paint it removed, Its really easy to remove these calipers, Porsche did a great job designing these brakes. Im like you, **** about stuff like this.

Black would be a color option as well so I'm not sure I follow you rationale.
