Default 18 inch lightweight Carrera wheels - how much?

How much do these normally sell for? I'm considering moving over to black wheels and may sell them. They are about $500 each new, but I'd be surprised if they go for much more than half that used.

I have seen them go for $850-$1450. I bought a set of scruffy track wheels for ~$1k and another set of nice street wheels for $1400 YMMV

Had the same thoughst as you but decided to keep stock wheels just in case I sell the car or if something happens to the new wheels.

I just sold mine a month ago for $2K in 9/10 condition with center caps and fairly new n-spec tires.

These the 5 spokes? if so, out here in the SFBay area they show up on CL pretty regularly for $500-$800 a set. No interest for me since they look like C5 Corvette wheels.

$500 a set? Not a chance.

I find it comical those you don't like them since they "look" like a wheel from a C5. They have 5 spokes and that's about all they have in common.

You can be banned for comments like that...

I wanted Carrera wheels. But the car I found had everything else I wanted, and turbo twists. My only problem with these: one side of the car is always going the wrong direction.

Could you imagine what they would cost if they had to do different sets of casts so all the wheels went the same direction? Ouch!
