Default swepco 210

Has anybody here used swepco 210 in their 996 gearbox...

do u feel the car is slower as a result because of the thickness of the fluid?

I ran 210 and loved it - noticable smoother instantly and just got better and better over time.

That said we put about 8oz of 714 in it for a "cocktail" that was developed and suggested to my indy from the Swepco distributor

Great fluid, I would change a 996 to it first week of ownership if I get anoher one

My 86' already swapped to swepco (201) because of compatabillity

Me neither! I used to snort coke, but the carbonation irritated my sinuses.

what's wrong with using swepco 201 in a 996 and even for DE events... ? the 201 is already a little thicker than the factory recommended gear lube... the 210 is 80w140 - now that's thick... I can see it gives great protection but this stuff won't work in winters that's for sure...

I need a cure for winter conditions. I know that our MT are influenced by the cold, but there must be a way to impove the gear change in colder months.

doesn't castrol make a non-synthetic that is usable in winter... after all in winter time we don't have to worry about heat related wear and tear...
