My first post: Just paid $32,900 for C4 Cab w/50K, recent service. Perfect condition until I took it to the Porsche dealership for a going over and they left it outside just b/f a hailstorm. Called about 30 min before to make sure it was under cover, they said it was. It wasn't. Will do PDR to repair and will only cost about $700 to repair. Could have been alot worse, but still up their *** to get them to pay-up. Should have seen their lot, it made me want to cry.

You are 100% correct. Take the hit upfront. How many times have we alll seen someone list their car high, then lower the price every week or so ("bump", "bump", "bumpity bump bump -with lower price"). When the car is priced to high, people figure they are not reasonable, or not "in touch," and that it would be a waste of time or confrontational to contact them. Then people just watch as they lower their price just to see how low it eventually goes. Something pyschological about it, but better to price closer to reality upfront and make quick business of it.

Of course, I'd rather see a high price than the guys who list with NO PRICE! That drives me crazy, and out of spite, I don't bother to contact them to ask "how much sir?"

Full disclosure - I am currently a buyer, waiting for the colder months on a convertible...
