Yeah, I was serious about leaving the drink at home. I don't eat or drink in my car - it keeps the interior amazing clean.

I'd rather have a clean car and stop for 10 or 15 minutes when I'm hungry or need a coffee.

You think it was an oversight by Porsche to not put cup holders in?

The Ultimate Cup Holder is the best solution, since if you spil or drip anything, it will land on the mat, and not the stereo, NAV, A/C unit, etc. I keep mine on the passenger side, so my leg doesn't bump into a bottle or cup.

When my wife got in, and saw it sitting on her side, she asked what it was. I told her it was part of the Vario Cam system!

I think they ultimately responded to the market (a little late) as all 911's since '02 have cup holders right?

Yea...that's why they're soooo much heavier than the MK1s.

Unless you are a woman just stick it between your legs. If it styrofoam or other fast food you are running a chance of the lid popping off. Or back pack on passenger seat so there;s a spot between door and pack to keep a big mug happy. This is all BS when it comes to hard cornering. Start an IV and hang it from the rear view if driving hard
