Default For those that have just done the rear sway bar...

I'm considering doing just the rear bar. I was at Mid-Ohio this past weekend and had a lot of understeer, but the stock suspension is okay for me since I only do a few per year.

I'm looking for feedback from others that have kept their stock suspension and have added a rear bar like the H&R or GT3 one. How did it effect your overall driving experience. A stiffer rear bar should help dial out understeer.

do more track days and learn to control the understeer - easiest solution

Doing just the rear bar might help to a degree but you'd really want to do both and the cost to do the front is not much more. You'll want adjustable drop links as well.

Also, you won't necessarily dial out understeer by stiffening up the rear. Loosening up the front will help quite a bit with that. It's grip you are loosing in FRONT.

The other way without bars is to learn to trailbrake to rotate the car heading into the apex and then get the power down to gain traction to track out.

Where were you experiencing understeer? At turn-in (can't get the car rotated at turn in)? Mid-corner (car turns in fine, but you push away from apex)? Or at track out (you are running out of pavement)?

Correct, also letting us know specifically where you problem is we can address it more diagnostically.

Turn-in? Probably entering too hot and/or not rotating with trailbraking
Mid-Corner? On the throttle too soon, off the brake too early or coasting
Track out? Not on the throttle soon enough

Hire a pro driving coach. Best mod you can do and best of all, it moves easily from car to car.

+1

Seat time and instruction are the two best things you can do in the MOD department. Have a good instructor in your right seat and you'll be amazes what YOU can do!

I have the same problem while autocrossing my car and I'm sure it's because of something I'm doing wrong.
