$9500 - and NO its not a miss print

Guys, these are REAL '73 or '74 Porsche RSR racing wheels. These were only sold with the RSR race cars of the day. They are super rare and HIGHLY desirable among the old school crowd. I'm actually surprised they're listed for only $9,500. I would've thought they'd command more money.

I recently traded up from a 1988 911 to a 2002 996. I am very happy with my new ride, but I miss my old rims. I noticed that the Fuchs site says 18" rims are "coming soon"....

I always loved the Fuchs. Just wondered if they will look good on our 996s

For $9500, those rims better suck hard and bring me a beer after.

If they look proper and are on the proper car (it's all about pairing) then those would be sweet on a modern pcar. Are the replica makers already jumping on board???

Those look like 19" wheels to me. Too big for a 996 IMHO.

FYI

Apparently, at the Fuchs (original manufacturers) website, they have a survey for the forthcoming 17- and 18-inch Fuchs forged alloys. For those Fuchs fans out there, you might want to help contribute your opinions regarding size and offsets. Deadline is until August 31, 2011, so help get the word out to make it happen!

The website is in German, but Google Chrome & Internet Explorer 9 translates it to English. Also, there's an "English" button on the site as well.
