I hope they ran a light with it, I'll get a letter with a link to photos of their faces and film clip. But if they were good enough to take it from a garage in a really visible area with cross-streeets and get away with it, I don't have too much hope.

Thanks all for helping out keep eyes open for parts!!

I can never be re-paid for the 250 hours I spent to rebuild it. It was my heart and soul into it, and I just turned it into a racewinning car (Redline Time Attack). My season is screwed and I lost a car I've been working on soo much and there's no way I can afford a car like it for what little insurance money may come from it. I want the car back, period. For me, there's no car like it and I knew every nut and bolt.

That is just so wrong on so many levels. What will your insurance company do if anything to help cover your costs into the Porsche?

I believe the police can obtain that camera footage (they do all the time here in NY), the question is whether or not they'll allocate the resources to obtain the footage and review it over a stolen car. Thy've done it for a stolen ATM machine in NYC, so it's worth a shot!

Right, they barely even want to write a report on anything these days.

That sucks, I recall there were two Porsches stolen from Newport Beach on the same night last fall.
It's like the original Gone in 60 seconds or something.

I wonder if it's still on the streets or garage somewhere, or already in a container at the docks in Long Beach...

Good luck, keep us posted.....

I still feel for ya man but probably cars in the same flow of traffic got tickets while stolen cars going the speed limit just cruise by. Lt's hope they get the car back. Some guys use 24hr video or video set off by movement to monitor their stuff. Might be a worth while investment. A guy on the other side of the island got tired of his news paper disappearing from his mail box and got video of the guy while he was at work. Nice video frame grab of the guy in the paper the next day.

Good luck and I do hope you find her. Thanks for taking my response with a little humor... But with all the crap that goes on anymore how can the thought not pass through ones mind?

Best of luck. Keep up posted.

Damn. I be looking but that good looking car is going to be packaged in parts and sold somewhere else.

I hate people a lot and this is why.

I realize the horse has left the barn, but

http://www.ravelco.com/

I had that installed in an F250. In Houston. That's like trying to secure a cold beer at a NASCAR race. So far so good (knock wood), but I have had two door locks ruined when thieves tried their luck...

Update: My car was observed DRIVEN out from the garage around 3.30am Monday morning, May 3rd. It was driven out with the lights off.

Pls still keep eyes open for parts, or the car, as the police are gathering more information.

(I am solely focusing on finding the car and rather not think about some long ol insurance process at this point - I have a race at Cali Speedway end of May and I want the car back asap before it's stripped or totally ruined or wrecked)

Thanks soo much everyone for keeping eyes open!!

I have a question. feel free to answer via PM if needed, but was the immobilizer disabled on the car? Was there a kill switch installed?
