Bruce,

Your observation is very close to the one I have heard. The plenum does not give you better performance through out the RPM range but it will give you better performance within one.

My light bulb moment in modding came from the Fabspeed headers and a flash to adjust for that. I had a flash for the intake and exhaust before and it was missing something. The throttle response was good felt quick but it lacked that piece until the headers were put in with the flash. Headers without the flash was noticeable but not memorable like the package deal.

I would like to get the plenum and 200 cell cats with a reflash at some point but without the PSE switch to tone down the cats when I need is a tough call.

Thanks Bruce, no need to feel defensive, not asking for dyno graphs...just seat of the pants results. As you mentioned awhile ago, you like to modify your Porsche and you have, and that makes you happy because it becomes 'your' signiture on your 911, and that's cool.

Thanks Was more preemptive than defensive. As with the Great Oil Schism, debates about bolt-ons tend to become theological with certain folks, by which I mean overheated and without a shred of objective evidence acceptable to both sides. I just wanted to spare everybody that, while still responding to the question.
