I am going to go out on a limb that the Plenum makes a little bit of difference on its own but is a good mod with other mods combined; intake, headers, Cats and exhaust

Lord knows, I am NOT interested in getting into one of these debates in which certain folks dismiss me as an idiot who falls for crooked marketing ploys and how could Porsche leave power on the table and all the rest of it... so this is only what I experienced, and it therefore cannot possibly be wrong. Yours may vary, etc...
My car already had an aftermarket exhaust, intake and flash. Each of these mods was done on its own over time, in that order. The ECU was reset after each one. I am well aware of the subjective nature of this and the myriad external factors that can affect this stuff. But I will say that I felt a bigger difference with this mod than at any other step in my modding process. My confidence that there is a difference is supported to some degree by how specific the difference was: To the seat of my pants, it's a HP mod, not a torque mod, so you experience no additional shove in the back. However, north of about 3500 rpm or so, you get that bungee cord feeling that says there is more horsepower in that part of the rpm band than there was before (I am completely disinterested in peak HP numbers, which I think are only good for bench racing and ad copy). The tach needle swings a little faster, the speedo numbers flip by a little more quickly, and at the bottom of a very familiar entrance ramp I'm carrying more speed than I'm used to. I felt the same effect gearing down to pass people (this was on the 407, for those familiar with Toronto). Subjectively, the sensation is pronounced and satisfying, and considering the cost in relation to my other mods, a pretty reasonable value.
By comparison to the OE part, the IPD piece is made far more substantially than Porsche could have afforded to do. Make of that what you will. If you're a guy who enjoys bolt-on mods, this seems to be a really good one. If you're not, I doubt anything short of a supercharger would win you over anyway.
