I have the J-pipe mod on a 3.4 can and it sounds really nice, especially above 4000 rpm.

Darin fields the same questions from all of us. Bar none, it is one of the best mods without breaking the bank, and he makes it worthwhile with his alteration to stock mufflers.

Did anybody switch from stage I (pipe from 3rd opening to outlet) to stage II mod (pipe between inlet to outlet) ?

The Stage II seems a little loud, I'd like something louder than stock but not too heavy either PSE sounds great to me, I don't want anything louder.

Then do the MK II mod (which Darin calls Stage I). It will be just what yu want. I had a local muffler shop do the MK II mod for $60.00.
