Just heard from my dealer. It was, in fact, a bad coil pack. It will be replaced tomorrow morning and then I should be back on the road.

I asked the dealer if I should replace all six, and he said it wasn't necessary. I like it when the dealer doesn't try to screw you.

This is the same thing that happened to my car a few weeks ago. Señor Mechanico asked if I had washed the car. I guess water and ignition coils don't play nice together.

Do they make little rain jackets or umbrellas for them?

Jeremy has always taken good care of me there--I've had the same experience with him several times telling me to NOT do something that would cost me!

Unfortunately, the same dealer's Audi service is in a different zone (and not good different).
