Default 90,000 mile service

I just had the 90,000 mile service completed, including new spark plugs. I did the easy stuff but turned it over to my indie for the plugs. The PO couldn't remember when they were replaced, if ever, so I wan't about to try it. Turned out fine. Plugs looked OK, no leaking of the seals or tubes, so that was good. The only issue I had was a roaring noise at 50 mph+. Wheel bearings or tires. The tires, Michelin PS2s, looked pretty good with even wear, but the noise wasn't really loud enough for bearings, or so I thought. WRONG! Both bearings were singing pretty badly once they were spun without the wheels.

So now, with my wallet lighter, she is again driving fantastic! I can hear the engine again. Good news is everything else looks good; suspension, brakes, etc.

Ready for another year of excitement!

Nice. Good to go for many more pleasurable miles. Amazing how loud the bad wheel bearings can get.
