Second required mod - Get rid of the yellow side markers. I just bought the clear side markers from Bumperplugs.com. Best $50 bucks you can spend!

Nice car. That's my new 99 in the pic. right now it's on the truck hearing north from Florida to Toronto. I loved the Bumperplug web site lots of great idea's.

How you swap out the old cassette holders for cd holders?

Thanks and enjoy your new ride.

Why the hell does a 99' have a cassette holder anyway?? Culture Club broke up 10 years before.
Great looking vehicle. It looks great!

Talking

First mod complete! Received my replacement tray for the cassette storage thing from Bumperplugs today. To remove the cassette thing, you just pull it straight out! Easy as pie. Pushed the new tray into place. 30 second swap, and now my console isn't embarrassing to look at.
Anyone with a Culture Club cassette collection want to buy a cassette holder? (kidding!)

Question

I'm naive, I suppose, but why the mass aversion to the amber side lights? They look fine to me. I don't get it...

This is a common afliction slow drivers have since their slowly driven cars give people a good look and shot at them.

You might find more important than a PPI is to pay off the hwy patrol first then hit the road.

Nice and clean headlights. I wish mine were that nice
Best to have a grit gaurd screen for your wash bucket and microfiber mit. Then have a seperate bucket and mit for doing the lower portion of the car. Saves the paint job that way. Real nice looking car.

I agree! Ambers are disgusting. Clear side markers blend in with the clear headlight covers and rear lights. Nothing else on the car is orange!!!
