Default Planning LN restrofit upgrade in Gelnn Yee motorsports in Sam Dimas

Guys, Since I love my new-to-me c4s so much, so i plan to do the LN bearing upgrade in next few days in gelnn yee motorsports, i will post details regarding this procedure.
btw, the LN engineering web site is down, is there something wrong about their products?
what parts i need to replace during this upgrade beside the bearing?
thanks in advance.

clutch set if you have manual
check RMS - IF leaking replace
Check AOS - replace if old
Check IMS to crank chain tensioner for wear, replace if gawling (its out for the proceedure)
same for the crank to 1-3 bank cam chain since it is out too

enjoy years of worry free driving

dont know why the site is down - I have not heard anything, maybe just IT issues/upgrades

Never heard of this retrofit thingy.. But anyway

You may want to look in to the 2nd gear trans fix and new gear oil too. Very easy to do when the trans is out (if you ahve the 6spd).. I would do the AOS regardless of its condition.

They (porsche) also came out with a new main chian tensioner. I would use it.. It doesnt put as much tension on the chain.

A clutch fork upgrade was also put out by porsche. If ou do not have the new style I would suggest it.

Tell us more abotu your ride... Year? trans? Miles?

Yes at 94K, I would also do the RMS if it has the old style on it...

The old style has round dimples all the way around while the new one has rectangle dimples all the was around (visable while still installed) Get the RMS from the dealer. Not a parts house. The one I got from the Local Parts house was an old style... Lucky for me it was delayed due to a snow storm and I went to the dealer and picked one up.. Dumb luck I got the right one.

Has your indy done the IMS retrofit before? IF so, then they should already know what to replace and what to check. I would definitely replace the RMS with the newest upgraded version while in there (leaking or not), When I checked with the indy in So Cal that came highly recommended in doing the IMS, he knew exactly what would be needed to be checked and replaced
