Question 18" GT3 or 19" VE Florio on C4S

Looking for summer rims for my 2003 C4S.

Option 1:

18" Powder-coated 18" GT3 rims with SP2 rubber in very good condition.
CON: Will need spacers and new bolts - any change in driving behaviour or dynamics?

Option2:

19" Victor Equipment Florio rims with Falken rubber (nearly new)
CON: Rougher ride? Guy is asking over $2000 more than the GT3's

Try to find wheels with the correct offset where you won't need spacers. I'd skip the Victor's though - not a huge fan of the wheels. Also decide on whether you want 18" wheels or move to 19".

The Champions are nice if $5K is your budget for the wheels!

I'd suggest you wait and see what else shows up in the classifieds or eBay over the next little while.

18" CCW C10's or C14's. Brand new complete sets avail for $2800 from John at CCW in Florida. These are super light forged wheels, in the perfect offset for your 996. Why anyone would spend good money on non-factory CAST wheels is a mystery to me. Especially expensive or used ones. Spend your money wisely.

BTW: The factory GT3 wheels are HEAVY, in additon to being expensive and the incorrect offset.

Re CCW: No affiliation, just a happy customer.

18's for performance and comfort, 19's for bling. You bought a performance car why compromise it with 19's?

Precisely...stick with 18s, itll be a better ride. Speedometer wont be "as" off too.

Have a look at OZ Ultraleggera HLT - superlight and will highlight the brake package. 18s or 19s just make sure that the tyre diameter matches rolling radius of stock and balances front/back for AWD diff.
