I just had my front resprayed, and "sorry officer, but I ordered the new mounting bracket but it hasn't arrived yet" mode. It's only been 3 days for me so far.

A front license plate on that vehicle would be like a mustache on the Mona Lisa

I put my front plate on for the annual MA state inspection and take if off again afterwards. Besides being ugly and looking out of place, the thing does not mount securely. I have the OEM license plate mount. On day as I was walking past the front of the car I brushed the plate lightly with my leg, and the plate wound up on the floor. I remounted it as securely as I could but it is still way too easy to knock the thing off the bumper.

So I keep the plate in the trunk. I would rather risk getting a ticket than lose the plate entirely due to hitting a big bump or from a parking lot tap.

I'm a born and bred Cheesehead Yankee living in an area South of Indianapolis that still thinks the wrong side won the civil war.....no offense to my friends south of the Mason-Dixon line.

I'll show up for court and get it reduced. I'm growing a mullet so I can fit in.

LOL!!!!!!!!!

You can always do the tried and true Trial by Written Declaration.

In the other thread, I mentioned I had my speeding ticket dismissed by going that route. I was going 91 on a 65.

Unfortunately I do, and it looks like crap and as mentioned it isn't very secure, but I haven't been stopped yet...
