Default Anyone replace the spark plug orings in a Mk2?

When I changed my plugs a few months ago, 1 of the plugs on the passenger side bank hand oil on it. I have been using a bit of oil, (not much) and every time I start the car thatt exhaust lets out some smoke.

The orings on the MK2s are accessed by removing the valve covers.
Anyone ever done this?

Anybody think it will be covered under CPO?

I seriously doubt that is causing you smoke on start up. Oil would have to enter the combustion chamber, not leak on the outside of the spark plug

Oil leak is an oil leak, if CPO covers oil leaks and it is leaking, it should be covered

Concerning "accessed by removing the valve covers". DON'T

No worries. I have no intention of doing this myself. If they were the conventional style o rings from the Mk1, I would have done them when I changed the plugs.

I do all the regular maintinence stuff including brakes but I'm gonna see what the dealer has to say.

I am really curious if this will be covered under the CPO since it really isn't a maintinence item.
