Shark Attack

Sorry man. You HAVE to get back to a 996 or newer. You dont fit with the aircooled guys.

I had a slantnose about 3 years ago. I had it for a whole 3 months. For one I didnt fit. My feet were way to big for the little peddle area.

But in my 3 months I found my slef amoung the most snotty, self centered, Non coopertive, unable to take a joke crowd of self proclaimed car guys. Even though none of them had EVER even got close to the car with a wrench.

It all came back to me today, when an 80's MY 911 black with a whale tail, pulled out in front of my 996. He had the big 80's tear drop mirrored sun glasses, He was looking in the mirror at his hair and combing it, he was finger brushing his teeth in the rear view.

I stay behind him for a few lights trying to catch a wave... No go....
So I pulled up beside him looked over and gave him a wave. He looked at me like I was a disease and wouldnt wave. So he pulls out and hits it.... So I hit it also, flew by him and gave him the bird. We were then on the hiway. So I continued to show him who was in the Porsche and who was in the VW.

Ed, The car isnt you, the crowd isnt you....
Sorry but you are going to have to get back into a real Porsche.

this thread is meant in fun, the events of the day are real with the encouter. If you cant take a joke, move on and go back to worring about tomorrow.

I dunno, Kinda like "The Hoff" sadly "Shark Attack" didnt fit anymore becasue of me getting rid of the 928. And the 996 doesnt really have any good catchy nicknames that can be played on. So what do you suggest?

I will post pics later - right now I am eating lunch with 100 other p-car owners - and on the "spirited drive" I was singled out and took one for the team from a nice guy on a motorcycle with pretty lights!
