Sounds to me like you have a car you pay attention to now

After washing it's best to drive the car braking and doing some speed to get all the water out of the rotors holes and from between the pads if you were washing and rinsing with a hose in there. One of the fancier metal rotors turns orange with the water. The rotors are great and just how it goes with water.

Just painted my rotor hats semi-gloss Black with h-temp BBQ paint. Looks much better, especially now with the 5 spokes on.

Painting the 'hats' is very popular and simple to do. Rustoleum is a good choice. The PCCBs (albeit expensive) solve that problem with aluminum or stainless steel hats.
