You rock. thanks!
Kyle,
I re-uploaded all of the pictures just now. They shouldn't vanish now. Take a look at the picture of the GT3 coilover unit. You need everything in that picture and of course the GT3 swaybars to connect to.
Here is the thread in case anyone needs it.

Ok so they are NOT a direct bolt on. I need GT3 Sway bars and drop links? That kills the deal.... I have a blown rear shock. Buying the shocks than the sway bars and drop links defeats the "looking for a deal" Well poop back to the drawing board.

You could reuse your stock sway bars but you won't like it. Have you priced a set of new GT3 sway bars? You may be surprised at how little they cost. Your seller should have the GT3 OEM droplinks that you can reuse, you don't need high dollar adjustable drop links.
My 2 cents.

Yes, it is 100% direct bolt on. I can speak to my own car 1999 C2 and a friends 2000 C2 Cab that did the switch as well.
It is no different to install the GT3 shocks/springs as to install a set of PSS9/10 or Motons.
You need the entire GT3 coilover unit as unbolted from the GT3, otherwise you need to purchase the missing parts. Two parts that are commonly missing (since they get reused) are the Front Upper Strut Mount (has the monoball and allows camber increases) and the threaded droplink locator collar.

At one time I thought about putting the GT3 stock suspension components on my '99 Cab C2, researched everything and concluded it would bolt right on if I had the upper front strut mounts and the swaybar links. I also concluded that the suspension may be a tad soft, possibly not noticed because of the cabs added weight. Years back they were common and cheap on Ebay.

Yeah this is getting out of hand. for $400 I could have NEW rear shocks. The whole reason for me buying a used pair of rears was to get away cheap... My toy fund is out of $$ at this time.
I think I am going to bag the idea. go back to my original plan

see now, this turned out to be a usefull thread for the next guy.
Plain and simple
Yes they will bolt up. But you will need the drop links and if you want to do it RIGHT the sway bars.
My quest for a $50 used rear shock has turned into a $700+ upgrade. Cant do it right now. Toy fund is empty

If you re-use the stock sways you can re-use the stock drop links and still mount them to the pinch bolt. the coilover swap is just like any other coilover swap on a 996 at that point. The other components are not necessary if you don't want to upgrade them...right away
