Get ready for the 'battle of the oils' coming soon to your station.

Ed, I think that applys only to your car, primarily because YOU own it!

At the track, without exception, my car gets lots of people ooowing and aweing!

Until they meet the driver

Well, to be quite honest, you are one step ahead of me.

When they see me pull up on my Honda, they chuckle and giggle.

When they see me get out of the car, they start rolling on the ground and holding their sides because it hurts so much to laugh that hard!

None of you have seen the latest service bulletin??

The newest factory-approved oil is -5W40

Thinner than water & can double as washer fluid too.

My condolences on the 100K mark. You're just that much closer to trouble (don't know what kind, I just know it going to happen!)

Cool...same thing I use for both my engine and as skin moisturizer!

It's all about maintenance and actually caring for a vehicle. The mileage means nothing if it is not abused. Look at how awful some rental cars look after just 10k miles!

I'm at about 84k on my 996, so 100k is not too far away for me either!
I could not agree more. I have 111k miles on my 2001 Jetta. People are shocked when they learn that it is almost 10 years old and over 100k miles.

If you treat the car with care (cosmetic and mechanical), it will pay you back over time. I would not be looking for a replacement of my Jetta, except for the fact that we have grown our family and need something a bit bigger. The next owner will get a great car.
