used to live in LA, lots of morons on fwy and streets too.

Sorry, that sucks. I remember how pissed I was when someone just emptied their coke glass out the window in front of me (and my clean car). This is just crazy.

I've never been that far inland but man the times are a changing if this happened to you, so sorry to hear. Admittedly my life in LA may be somewhat sheltered, but I don't think there's another major city with as much respect for cars and car culture in the US. NY is complete crap by comparison, every time someone parks here they hit the cars in front of and behind them, holes in the bumpers are so common ($500 - 800 is a good guess). Give it to the valet to keep it off the street, and he'll ding your doors, rash your wheels and in my case inexplicably break your window.

FYI, SoCal peeps... if you haven't seen the news... 118 and 210 freeway intersection, there has been people throwing large rocks off the freeway overpasses to lower level freeways. Watch out.
