Default What do you call it and where can I get one?

Long story short. I've misplaced the carpet covered panel from the bottom of the luggage compartment of my '03 C4 cab. Anyone have an idea what the official name and or part # is and where I could find one? It drives me nuts every time I open the trunk!

Thanks for easing my pain.

Is this it?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Porsche-911-996-9...#ht_651wt_1167

EDIT: Just read the description. This particular one won't fit a C4, but maybe it will be a good starting point for the search... GL.

So, don't open the trunk!

You are welcome!

Seriously, check with Suncoast (Florida) or Sunset (Oregon) Porsche.

Why would I need to buy a PC, or a Mac for that matter, to cut the carpet? My computer doesn't seem to have that capability.

Zookie is correct. I'm refering to the shelf/divider that separates the trunk from the spare in the C4. I'll try one of the "Sun" dealers but I was hoping not to take it in the tail on this transaction.

There are dismantlers online that sell parts from crashed cars.

You let a lousy dealer work on the car and lose the panel (along with your favorite golf jacket). Then you neglect to open the trunk until the following Spring. At this point the lousy dealer laughs at you when you tell them they lost your stuff. At least, that's how I did it!
