Default ROW Mo30 vs US Mo30

I was just wondering if someone could tell me how I can tell the difference. I have Mo30 suspension (030 code under the hood) but just don't know if it is ROW or US? Any help would be appreciated.

my understanding is a difference in ride height. ROW is maybe 1.5" lower than U.S.

There are different paint colors applied to the springs to differentiate between the two.

more like 10 mm (not 1.5")

see post #3 of this LINK LINK LINK

AND your springs have painted "bands" on them... take a look, those are coded to tell you what springs they are...(US or ROW)

Note the single color stripe at the top of the spring denotes the spring group (length variation due to process differences) and could be either white or green for any of the spring packages (USA standard, USA sport, or ROW sport).

the stripes toward the bottom of the springs will be:

USA Std Front: Brown-Blue
USA Spt Front: Gray-Blue
ROW Spt Front: Green-White

USA Std Rear: Brown-White
USA Spt Rear: Gray-White
ROW Spt Rear: Green-White

This is exactly why I ask. Turns out that my front springs have paint marks that are Blue & Grey while my rear springs have a Green mark as well as a Grey & White paint mark on them. My MO30 sway bars also have Green paint marks on them.

Don't the springs also vary by engine, transmission, C2/C4, model year, etc? I felt like a forensic scientist trying to figure out what the hell springs were put on my Tip since they don't match the service manual, and trying to figure out what would the right US M030 are.

Speaking of which, US M030 is OK for SCCA stock class, but ROW M030 will push you into stret prepared. (If anyone's upgraded to ROW and has used US M030 springs for an 03/04 986S Tip, I'm looking! I've otherwise given up.)
