Default Quick EVOMS intake question

I'm sure lots of guys have this intake, and I think I may have to get it as well. It looks very well engineered. Has anyone had any problems with the system?

Thanks!!

I just picked one up the other day. I haven't installed it yet, but it looks like a decently engineered piece. The only problem I've heard with the intake is that it can rub against one of the pulleys if you're not careful about the positioning.

I have been using it for 4 years, no issues, Great Product... If you buy a new one make sure it come with the new "SyntaMax Dry" Filter... Also look at the new Fabspeed CIA, might be swaping my EVOMS for that, looks really good

I wasnt impressed with the build quality of the intake... but it all went away when you hear the noise it makes...

Three happy years with mine. Also have no concerns about air filtration, based on oil analysis, anyway. I think it's a good product, especially combined with exhaust and an ECU reflash. In that kind of application, I think there's more benefit than just a nice noise, but I have a policy never to discuss power gains on internet forums...

I took the EVOMS name plate off as one screw went 'missing' and I didn't plan on the other one and plate ending up in the pulleys... Other than that very happy...

Mine was great...no issues...I didn't/wouldn't pay full price for it as it wasn't a huge improvement over the stock box w/ BMC filter.

I read that issue and mentioned that to the vendor where I got mine from. They knew about that and mentioned that the wrong tubes were given in that particular case and assured me that I will get the correct one designed specifically for my model. No issues with mine after the install. Fitment is perfect.

This is what I have. Otherwise, it is not worth the hassles of the MAF getting fouled up by oiled types.
