Big vote for the Sumis. Ran them on my 968. Loved them - because they were good, not because they were less expensive. That fact was just a nice addition to the equation.

Im running 18" Kuhmo Ecsta SPT on my 4S. So far I really like them. They are grippy, quiet, and have a good fit on my rims. (flat sidewall) I think the rears about $225 which is still rather inexpensive for a 295.

I use the Vredesteins for the street. Long lasting and a fair price. The Dunlops I use for the track and are awesome as well as long lasting for a better price than any of the N-rated tires. They're not a racing tire but since I track the car once a week, they last me a while (keeps the wifey happy)

Kumho Ecsta, Vredestein, Falken FK452, Sumi HTRZ- All pretty much the same price range, I've tried em all on diff. cars and they are all good enough for daily street use.

I have had toyo t1r 245s up front and 315/25/19s out back (11" wheel), also going into 4th summer. comfortable, durable street tire. Work well in weather, just don't get your foot all the way in them when it gets cold.

The only think I don't like about them is the soft sidewall, great for comfort, but man have I bent wheels (to be fair, my car is in terrible urban environments a lot)

Next time, I may try the all season proxes 4, fitment in following post

Or the ventus v12

I paid $750 for these tires from Discount Tire Direct and then received a $50 rebate from Hankook. Quite a good value.

I purchased some of the Hankooks V12's as a cheap set of rain tires for track/street use. After using them I found myself quite surprised by their performance (wet & dry). When I read the C&D review a couple of weeks later, my exposure to them was validated when they reported how well they did against tires like the PS2. At that point I was a happy camper.

After a few weeks of usage, I got a rebate check from Hankook and I was an even happier camper. *Golf Claps*

Another vote for the Hankook V12s. Replaced my Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions with them and couldn't be happier. Grippy, responsive, handle well in the wet. Street only, I don't track. For the price and performance, I'd order them again in a heartbeat.

Got the Toyo Proxes TR1, 245/35 ZR19 front, 285/30 ZR19 rear. They're good, value for money.

I went with these too but 275s at the rear. I have the same opinion. They are very quiet, rides very well considering the low sidewall, and very good performance on both wet and dry. Excellent value for street tires.
