Default can you change odometer to KM

Guys on your +- 2004 996 - can you change your reading on your odometer to KM from miles? - and does the reading on the interior temperature control change to metric as well?

I am putting a new mask on my GT3 speedometer in KM and wanted everything to match...my car is not here until Friday...

Yes. Refer to your owners manual(at least you can in my 99).

Page 74 of the owners manual. Dial with the clock looking face is turned to the left for 5 seconds to change speed displayed back and forth.

Switching between units
With the ignition on, hold adjustment button A
turned to the left for approx. 5 seconds.
Note
The units of the distance and speed displays
can also be changed in the "SET" menu of the
on-board computer.

Where are you getting the gauge face(mask) from? I looked into doing this, but the damn speedo is pretty hard to read - I prefer looking at the digital speedo!

Don't forget to change the digital clock to metric, too.

I hardly ever look at the analog gauge. I'm interested in a more exact number since I'm stuck interpulatiing for actual speed.

That's a honda car only problem. Call their 1-900 number for the fix.
