I know the correct answer is just to get the dfister mod, BUT I was just curious what the pricing is for the PSE exhaust with the on/off switch.
I had heard they are about 2K, so I emailed the parts manager he he said quote:
"Hi Steve,
The Sport Exhaust has gone through some upgrading and updating. The main kit runs over $6,000 now. Installation will take greater than a day.
If you want to do it in February, you can take 20% off the parts price. Even with that, I realize it’s still a lot of money…Please let me know if you are interested."
So 6000.00 plus a day and a half of labor? Can't be - are they looking for a sucker, or am I misinformed and this is actual parts + time & materials?
dfister is in my future.

That's a joke right? The increase in price was discussed recently, but a day and a half for install, that's nuts! I am very happy doing the FisterD mod and highly recomend it.

I am guessing that includes running the wires from the engine bay to the control panel and installing the PSE switch. I'm not saying it is right, but I think it is the whole package. I recall that it is a 4.5 to 5.5 hour job to do the wiring.

I wish there were a $100 option where a car company would include some number of un-used, wires from front to rear, under dash to top of windshield, etc. I'd include in a build without a second thought.
So easy to include with the original harness--so lousy to have to do later.

I talked to Suncoast a couple of weeks ago and they told me the PSE had gone up in price from under $2K to more than $3.6K (the part #'s had also changed). It looks like it's going to be the FisterD mod for me!

I was told by my dealer, the 991.1 C2S standard factory exhaust sound is in between the OEM sports when it's on and off. He said it's not that big of an upgrade in sound.
Can someone please enlighten me on this as l was considering adding the sports exhaust.
Oh BTW, sports exhaust are out of stock and there's no ETA
