Believe me, it will be a huge disappointment.

Believe me, by the time this rolls around we'll have around 40 to 50 cars.... that's about as large as I like it to be - bigger than that gets hard to manage.

At the moment this is only posted in a couple of places to get a feeler to see if "the regulars" are interested and so far I've gotten around 20 people saying they're interested, so it looks like we're a go.

Will you guys be reasonable close to DC/NoVA (realizing that reasonably is a relative term?

I'd love to see some of your cars and get a nice drive in, its the slog back down 95/495 into VA after the drive that bothers me.

Sadly, no. We'll be threading our way up the Delaware River on the NJ and PA border... that would be quite a trek for you.

We have a lot of fun with the drives - I used to do 2 or 3 per year, but then my kids arrived, so now I'm lucky if we can do 1.

My goal is to play this by ear. I've only done this drive once before and it was a lot of fun, so I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again and getting to play... I'll see if I can post a couple of photos from a previous drive when I'm at my other computer.

I think the fall Highpoint drive was where the souped up AWE turbo got the ticket for driving 36mph in a 15mph zone as we passed through Frenchtown NJ.... the only time anyone has gotten a ticket on one of my drives.

5 bug splats does not qualify as "bug-splattered" but then everything is relative. I'll bet your car also got sunburned that day since it was not used to being in the sunshine.
