Just one question from a "new" 996 owner. How much are folks saving by not using Porsche coolant?

Thanks

It's probably a difference of about $15 a gallon. The real issue for me is when you need Porsche coolant, you have to find a Porsche Dealer to purchase.

Default Peak Global Lifetime Coolant

I finally found the one coolant that will work with the original Porsche coolant, I'm sure there may be others. It is Peak Global Lifetime Coolant and it will not change your original "red" Porsche coolant. I could not find this Peak coolant at any of the local parts chains. However, you will find it at Walgreens of all places. $12.00 gal.

+1 on the VW G12 coolant. As cheap as store brands, but the real thing.

VW has sold some of the best coolant for decades. It's blue. I'd have no problem putting that in my Porsche. I run it in everything else that I have.
