Got my first Porsche at 29.... I wanted one since I was 3 or 4, I'm not kidding!
I saw one on the road and my dad got me a scale model of a 911. I wish I still had it.
I'm 44 now but like Ed said, I'm 14 when I drive my Porsches!

Definately the engine. The radio (even the Bose) is really awful.
The bose system in My mazdaspeed6 is 100% better in every way.
There isn't much need for a radio in this car when you have the sport exhaust.
I'm 32 and this is my first Porsche. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have such a killer car at a younger age.
I grew up working in my uncles truck repair shop and all the Landscrapers and stone masons also brought their toys to my uncles shop for repairs.
Some were as mild as a Miata, or as cool as a 65 vette, and then their was the first car that I got to drive after I learned to drive stick on my 86 Jetta. With the owners full consent I was allowed to drive his 72 Detomaso Pantera. Now that was freakin cool for a 17 year old kid....

Wow that was a cool vid.....
I will gladly take the motor over the radio. My dad had a 1956 356 Speedster and was one of a handful of guys to start the Milwaukee Chapter PCA. He traded that car when my twin brother and I were born for a Chevy wagon. He left us 7 years ago but I swore I would get the P-Car. I started with a 914, fell in love with a 1967 911 SWB, cheated on that with a '86 Black Carrera and yes found a new and improved '99 C4.
I intentionally drive the fast lane with the windows down in the summer just to hear the exhaust bounce off the concrete divider......and since we are fessing up I'll be 47 in May.

This is Great, I am glad to hear that so many share my love for the sound of the motor. My GF always asks, why don't you put the radio on? My answer is always the same, because I love the sound of the motor. Thanks for sharing.
