SWEET!!

Charles and I have decided to start offering once monthly training for the IMS procedure. Primarily this will be for shops who want to know the details of the install to best serve their clients, but Enthusiasts can also attend..

What was once black art is now becoming a well known and understood procedure with some effort on our part coupled to great experiences being shared like Kyle's.

How do you keep your garage floor so clean?...

Added.

You're "one of them"
I see your exsteam atten to detail with the tie wrap and little covers over the axils.

I just dont have that trait in me.

I bought a $20 area rug at Taget to lay on. Sure was a lot better then the cold floor.

It looks like the OIL Cooler is leaking. There was oil on the out side of transmission too. I ordered 4 new o-ring seals and will try and replace.

Kyle

The Pan-head M10 bolts on the flywheel, what tool is used to remove. Is this a torx or a hex?

torx dont know the size and I used my air impact.

Putting them back in on your back is a bitch... You pull them down to a certian ft# then another 1/4 turn.. That last 1/4 turn is really hard trying to keep the torx in the bolt as you really crank on it. You will find out what I mean when you get there.

Your new bearing looks different than mine. Do you have yours packed with grease?
wow your RMS tool sure is a lot simpler than mine. Post the lengths you cut the inner pipe too.

IMS is a single row, no grease. NOTE: IMS puller will not fit on new IMS....Different threading.

Don't forget to change out AOS while your in there. Another $150 and you have full access now. It is made of the same plastic that is slowly becoming super brittle on our cars. Mine cracked at the heat exchanger portion.
