Dont worry I didnt forget the oil and belly pans. They will be right after the axils

And tell me where else are you going to get better friday night entertainment?

something is wrong. I drained the oil and didnt get any one the floor.... That ain't right

so far belly pans are the worst part of the job.
10MM socket
Large phillips
10mm open end wrench
Dikes or good plyers to pull out plastic body rivit

So far the axils are off the trans. The oil is drained, the belly pans are off.

I guess it is time to remove the cross brace under the tranny and also all the life support attached to the tranny

cross brace 15MM socket. remove one side and losen the other. Rotate it out of the way

ok need to look at WSM.. My dumb *** cant figure out how to get the shift linkage off the tranny

I used the rear jacking points in front of the rear wheels

Im stuck. i dont want to force them. How do the linkages pop off the trans? Looks like a ball and socket. Brute force?

just unbolt them together IIRC..... the entire linkage is bolted on the tranny....


US PET page 88.... #4 is the clip... but the whole thing bolts on by that bolt IIRC? Any luck?

Time: for tonight all I have time for tongiht. Have to find out about the shift linkage and babysit. I just started to unbolt the clutch slave. The wsm "Unscrew the slave and tie to the side with the host attached", YEAH..... First of all they are BOLTS not SCREWS and they are not exactly easy to get to.

I cant get them off the ball sockets. i have them out of the bracket

I'd really suggest you get the nose up too. Worth the cost of the additional stands and like Jake stated will make it way easier to get the tranny back in.
