If things work out on the job front for a permanent position (I am doing some consulting work right now), it could be later this year.... at the earliest, in the Fall.

Most likely, it will not be a 996. I will probably try to get a 997. I know.... I know, it would have oval headlights, but don't hold that against me.

Ordering one is out of the question, but if I could do that, here is what I would order:
  • 997.2 C2S
  • Carrara White
  • Sea Blue Full Leather
  • 6 MT
  • Sport Exhaust System
  • Sport PASM
  • Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory
  • Heated Seats
  • Self Dimming Mirrors
  • Thicker 3-Spoke Steering Wheel Smooth Leather
  • Rear Center Console in Leather
  • Door Finishers in Leather
  • Storage Compartment Lid with Model Logo
  • Gear Lever Trim in Leather
  • Leather Sun Visors
  • Door Entry Guards in Stainless Steel
  • BOSE High End Sound Package

However, I really haven't given it much thought.

Tim, you can't get a 997S unless I can have the first shot at your Honda!

What... my Honda? Yeah, I drive it. I has about 8K miles on it and is 19 months old.

Oh, you probably were asking about the 996. Actually, it was my DD for 39 months. During that time I logged about 45K miles on her.

Thanks (I am assuming you were referring to the 996 and NOT my Honda)

The pedals are "gray market" pedals I got off ebay. They have the PORSCHE letters on them, and as I recall, they were about $110.

Hey Tim,
