OK Ed, here are a few more pics of my "dearly departed love"..... no, not my wife.... my 996!

All of my other pics are back in Dallas and I am out of town.

Where did you get the custom center arm rest cover? Was it there when you bought it, or did you add that? I'd like to find one like that for my 996...

What - does Ed doubt your past ownership? (And he's too lazy to search? )

Dennis, the original owner ordered the center console lid. I really liked it. Maybe you could contact Gert at carnewal.com to see if he can get one.

Van, I posted one pic a couple of days ago to show someone the dual exhaust tips on my car. When Ed saw the pic, he mentioned that he hadn't seen pics of my car. He joined RL after I sold my car, so I thought I would share some pics I had.

No, he is not too lazy to search, he is just tied up on ebay all of the time looking for items that won't fit on his 996! <== That's got to be a full time job!

Cracking up !

I have to admit my reputation far exceeds the reality, but stretched truth has a way of becoming fact if repeated enough times.

Not to derail this thread too much. But a lot of you guys reference Gert at carnewal.com for OEM stuff. What I don't get is why buy from overseas? Isn't the customs charge, freight, and crappy exchange rate really worth the effort or net savings?
