I've never had anyone ask me that. But, most are surprised when I tell them it's AWD.

Talk about confusion, try Carrera4S. Yeah I tell them that the GT2 only has 2 cyclinders and the GT3 is a little better because it has 3 cyclinders. My car is so much better because it has 4 cylinders and an S to boot. So then they ask "then the Carrera GT only has one cylinder? I say yes, but it's a 2 stroke motor.

I always thought that the 4 was the number of car lengths it would lag behind a 2.

Funniest thing I've experienced was a couple of guys that were from the sticks that thought Carrerra was "Cammerra"..

The son looks at his Dad and says "Daddy, I ain't never seen a Cammerra (Camaro) look like that before, have you?"

They also have a guard Rooster at their shop and never lock it... The joys of living in the country...

Be nice to them. Some guys on here might have some stuff to sell those question askers at a later date.

In the words of another just say, I'll get back to you with an answer to that on a later date

Nice avatar man hehehe

I thought that meant it had nine hundred and eleven cylinders? Oh man, now I'm totally confused.

I hear this all the time at the dealership (not particularly Porsches but in general) :

"Does that have a V-6 or V-4 in it?" or "No, mine's not a V-6...it's a V-4"

You can really screw with them when you tell them it's an H 6
