BTW while I'll have hr open install the new h/w I'll also be dropping in the "smartop" mod option I also purchased.

BTW Here in Texas we got 12" of snow last Thursday! Never thought I would have to shovel snow in Texas!! ;-)
Tony Proasi, over at Stuttgart Specialists, got me the whole kit for $275.60. We're buried in snow here so I haven't installed mine yet.

Ok, I finally got my top installed. Here's a quick shot. Need to tighten the screws little more.

I'm in Rowlett and bought my parts from Boardwalk in Plano. They sold me the receivers for $123 per piece. Do you have bayonette type of receivers in the car? Let me know if you need help with the install.

We built an igloo.. stayed up for 48 hours. Yes folks, we too can have an igloo in Dallas, TX.

Hey Neighbor!
The Hardtop I bought does have Bayonet ends but I have a 997 that doesn't have any receiving H/w so am ordering kit today from Boardwalk. Once everything lands, if you don't mind, would like to pick you brain over Starbucks (on me)!

here's what I took off my car. Bayonette Receivers. I don't think it's ever been used.

Thank you but after hearing the "rattles & Squeeking" feedback on the banonet style and the kit was only $230.00 (Boardwalk) for ALL the NEW style H/W, just went that route.

BTW that igloo ROCKS!!!

2 receivers & 2 screw pins for $230 or just receivers? If you have bayonette pins but buying threaded screw receivers, then you'll need to replace the pins too.

Ok, it wouldn't be right to start a thread and not post pictures of the results. Exactly a month after I won the hardtop on Ebay, I finally got the top installed.

$154 for the Hardtop.
$420 for shipping.
$250+ for the receiver mount.
