Default Where to buy tires in the San Gabriel area in SoCal?

Hi all! Need to change the rear tires on a carrera 4s asap and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good tire store with reasonable prices in the San Gabriel area or nearby?

Damon at The Tire Rack is a Porsche guy and they are a Rennlist sponsor. damon@tirerack.com Their prices are hard to beat. They were about $100 less per tire than my local Big O store. They have hundreds of recommended installers, including my local Big O.

Check out Mazz Autosport off Las Tunas or Fast Forward Wheels off Valley.

If Culver City's not too far (30 minutes on a Saturday), Wheel Enhancement should be open and they carry lots of Porsche tires too....

Get a quote for your tires from TireRack and then go to America's (Discount) Tire and they will meet the TireRack price.....easy. Most any tire store will match the price at another tires store or TireRacks price. They usually do not stock the Porsche tire sizes, so they will order it for you.

Or just buy them from Tire Rack and support our sponser and Damon who answers all my dopey questions

Blew a tire on my Saab last week, ordered from Tire rack and had the tire the next day! My local tire guy said it would take 2-3 days to get.
I have been a TR customer forever.

They're usually about 3 days here in So Cal as the tires come from Reno. Unfortunatly with Monday's holiday you wouldn't get them until Thursday if you ordered today....

I'm pushing Wheel Enhancement as I know they have your tires, they're open today (I checked), and they are extremely competitive. The usually have almost brand new take-offs from their dealer base which they sell at a discounted price....

a good deal is a good deal, I have factory take off's on my truck... whith wheels I paid $400 for 17' suburban wheels and tires....sold the old wheels for $350 too

that said, DO check mfg date of tires, if you do not know how, just google or youtube it... its important esp on performance tires (within reason.... they dont need to be a week old... but you do not want 8 year old tires even if there are "brand new")

I have never used TireRack, but if they can take the time to answer your legion of questions, then they MUST be good!

< Tim thinks to himself > Damn, I know I am going to pay for that one!
