Aftermarket warranty

just got 3/36 EasyCare w/250 deductible for my 03 C2 (54k mi), paid ~3700.
That's the best I could get after calling about 10 places. Prices seem higher in CA than elsewhere.

I couldn't get TotalCare from EasyCare. Was told that since my '02 (w/44K miles) was out of the original factory warranty - although it is still on the CPO) I had to get StatedCare or Primary Care.
Was quote with a $500 ded. $3455 for Stated and $2,935 for Primary. for 3/36.
I also called AAA and got $2,888 for 4/48. I need to call them back and get a copy of the policy. Actually, I should just do that with both companies.
Also, is it me or can anyone else not get to the web site for Fidelity Warranty Service? (www.fidelitywarrantyservices.com/). I can see a cached site, but can't get a live site.

wierd - I was able to get a total care on my 02 with 55k miles. Did you get yours after the new year - I remember there being a cutoff, which is why I got mine in dec 09.

My cost for the warranty was ~$3000 for 3yrs/36000miles ($100 deductible). I purchased the warranty in San Diego (where I bought my car) last week. Odd that your cost is higher

I just called up on Saturday. They said couldn't get TotalCare since it wasn't under a factory warranty and I came back with that it was, with the CPO. They said, no - the original 4/48 or what it was.
From what I've heard about some of these warranties, I may get a different response from a different person - who knows.
Yup - able to get to Fidelity now.

Fidelity replaced a clutch switch for me with no hassles. I bought it, like others, via Porsche dealership. $3,500 includes 9% sales tax, 4yr/48K miles, $100 deductible, platinum coverage (everything included save for typical maintenance items like batteries, brake pads, etc).

From Fidelity's website it looks like you can only purchase via a dealership. If I bought my car from a private seller it sounds like Fidelity os not even an option. Can anyone confirm?

Couple of years on the vehicle and 20K extra miles makes a difference. I didn't pull the trigger but got quoted: $500 ded. $2,935 for Primary. for 3/36 ('02 C4S 44,000 miles).
You've got a better deductible, lower premium (by almost $300/year) and one more year.

Warranty Update: I had my first EasyCare warranty claim a few weeks ago. Alternator went to the tune of $1600 (the repair included an ignition switch). EasyCare took care of it w/o any drama whatsoever. My indie said they didn't bat an eye at the cost.
They kind of screwed me on all but $60 of the towing because I didn't use one of their preferred vendors (dang fine print), but otherwise I'd have to say it was a pretty good experience.

Wewillbreakyourcar.com seemed legit. Called other companies and they had the best coverage for my 911. So far they replaced my suspension and it was over $3k.

Im sorry to revive this thread. But I have got 3 emails of people in the last few weeks asking why I said stay away from Endurance on the second post to this thread. This was back in 2010. I have no idea other than perhaps I read a lot of bad reviews. I remember doing the research and I was all over the place reading about all warranty companies.... I cant remember exactly why. I can only assume it was due to what I had read.
