Damn Scott, if you had installed the Zebra rear center console, I would be all over your car right now!

Seriously, I wish I was in the position to buy a Porsche now. My preference would be to buy a 997, but I must say that your car is the only 996 I would consider instead of a 997.

Scott I had no idea until I looked on Craigslist earlier today! That'll pay me for not attending coffee Saturday morning, when I'm sure you would have broken the news. Good luck bro, I sold my Boxster Monday - to a State Trooper!

Bruce, congrats on the sale! You didn’t miss anything – I decided this only a couple days ago. Would like to hear the story about the trooper if you can make it out for the drive on Friday, the New Years Day Drive

We're meeting at WZ @10, going for a longer than normal drive, then doing lunch after ~11:30-11:45 am at Red Robin at Beaver Creek Commons.

Bummer, I leave for Holden Beach in the morning, back Sunday. We'll catch up the following Saturday. Have a good run Friday.

I want a WHITE 911 (997 or 996) and Scott owns one of the few WHITE 996's on this forum. That is why his car is one of the few I would consider.

So how did I do? Was I able to wriggle my way out of the corner I painted myself into?

I have been doing some consulting work in Greenville, SC for the last 7 months, so I am closer that you think. However, until I land a "permanent" position (if there is such a thing in this economy) I can't get into another Porsche at this time.

I sure do like your car though...... even without the Zebra rear center console.

Tim, any chance you get back to NC in the near future? Would love to have dinner again. This time you can meet the two newest additions to the family since the last time we met up!

It's just a matter of time, Tim. Hang in there. When it's time, I hope it's a GT3!
BTW, I just drove a 997S for the first time yesterday - a great car.

Happy Holidays,
Joe
