Fixed! One tip on my 2002 Targa, screws were slightly different than the Renntech DIY. I only had two screws on the bottom (instead of three) and two in the middle with the glove box open (not mentioned on Renntech), and three on top. Two in the middle were tough to get to with a normal torx screwdriver, but doable. Dropped glovebox out, loosened 13mm bolts on airbag and pushed it back.

On the other hand by any chance can you provide a detailed DIY for this fix as mine looks the same and as you said renntech had missed a few key points. Tnx in advance.

 

I think the renntech write up hit all the key steps, only difference was that I had two bolts on the sides that the write up didn't mention.
